Our Class 6 learners have just come back from the 2018 Greek Olympics held at the Stellenbosch Waldorf School this past weekend.

As weekends go, this one was particularly hot and the night was noisy due to a FULL MOON. This notwithstanding, the athletes called on their inner resolve to toil and contest within each challenge. It was a pleasure to behold such eager striving and concerted will in so many a young one. This surely must bode well for our future. Well done here to pupil and teacher alike.

Bravo to the winners, congratulations to the special diplomas recipients, but a big hand must go to each and every one of you who contributed so enthusiastically to make this Olympics a success. Special mention to all the volunteers from Germany who performed over and above what was expected of them.

And of course, to the Stellenbosch Waldorf School and Spier for the venue, a perfect and fitting setting indeed.
