It was an unusually warm winters evening last night – and our students had a wonderful time celebrating our St Johns Festival 2019! There was much excitement and joy as we watched the children walk along the path with their lanterns shining brightly in the dark winters night. Their songs filled the air and brought such joy to our hearts. There was even a full moon which added to the beauty of our evening. Class 7 had the honour of lighting the bonfire for us, and did a great job! Thank you Class 7 children, parents and Mr Fortuin! Thank you also to the Class 4 parents for the delicious soup and rolls. What a wonderful closing week to our second term.
